Grab 'Em By The Songs
Host and founder Kim Lembo present's "Grab 'Em By The Songs" the fourth Wednesday's of the month at Ivy Room featuring women sharing songs in the round.
Kim Lembo
Kim Lembo
Whether with her full band or, solo Lembo brings blues, with an edgy soulfulness combined with poetic lyrics and storytelling. Her voice is big and echoes a kind of Etta James meets Lucinda Williams if they played in a band with Janis Joplin. It is the sound of music that can not be defined by a singular genre. She sings from her soul with songs written from the heart.
Lembo has played all over the US and has recorded in France, California, and NY. From the stages of Paris to hiking up the side of the Great Wall of China with a guitar and a slightly broken foot, she has brought her uniquely deep and powerful voice to thousands throughout the world. Lembo has a voice to be reckoned with and a story to be shared.

Kim Lembo can be found around the Bay Area rabble-rousing and playing/producing events.
Chelsea Coleman
Chelsea Coleman
Oklahoma grown singing-songwriting powerhouse, Chelsea Coleman, creates sanctuaries out of songs, wherein her audience is moved, humbled, and exalted. A courageous and vulnerable storyteller, she invites you to endure open heart surgery, skillfully mending your heartache with strands of golden thread. Each listener leaves more integrally woven in to the tapestry of humanity.

Ms. Coleman got her start in the church halls of Tulsa, Oklahoma and her adventures have planted her firmly in the SF Bay Area arts community. Her heart, brain, and hands work hard, waking and sleeping, to bring you pleasing, intriguing, honest music.
Madeline Tasquin
Madeline Tasquin
Nimbly walking the edge between pop and prog, jazz and rock, soul and balkan... the thread that weaves the musical realms of Madeline Tasquin into one is the performer's natural and giving connection to her audiences. Combined with her musicianship and adventurous songwriting, Madeline is equal parts entertainer and artist.

Àn itinerant rolling stone, she's rolling up to her BC Canada stomping grounds a few short days after this "farewell (again) party," and will be joined by her badass band of Secret Agents for the occasion. Her next local performance won't come until the fall, with the official EP release tour for Agua es Vida, recorded this past winter in Montreal.
