Thunderpussy Forever and Friends (Reunion Show)!
Thunderpussy Forever and Friends (Reunion Show)!
After 10 years…Thunderpussy Forever returns to the stage in this epic celebration showcase for a fantastic cause…rescuing kittens!

Thunderpussy Forever, started by lead singer Kristin Fairfield in 1998, was, at the time, San Francisco’s finest female fronted disco cover band. After their debut (at a rockin’ house party), they landed a weekly standing gig at Nightclub 181 … and became the house band every Saturday for 3 years. Many clubs were not open to the name ‘Thunderpussy’ and the band was asked to change their name to ‘Thunderkitty’ for marquees and in print. But the TPF brand couldn’t be kept quiet … word would always get out… and by the time a show started, everyone was there to see THUNDERPUSSY!!

Thunderpussy Forever continued delighting audiences around the Bay Area and throughout CA and eventually branched out into original music - fully embracing the concept of the infamous name … but this time with a mission.

It is TPF’s mission to help bring awareness to our society’s growing, and ever-changing, struggle with sexuality and gender equality. Although the band’s music is not a substitute for sexual education (well, it might be in some cases…?!), the TPF musicians and performers hope to bring people a fun, positive perspective and a sense of freedom in actively seeking, learning, and celebrating their sexual pleasure.

Catholic school girl outfits, corsets and lingerie, chair and pole dances, spankings and striptease were all part of the show. The more theatrical side of the group even included pulpit speeches and poetry over its original groove/funk music naughtiness — keeping its head in the mission and its heart in dancing!

In its 15 years on stage Thunderpussy Forever recorded 40 original songs, made several guest appearances on local radio shows (Sarah and Vinny), was a favorite at Gay Pride in both SF and Oakland, performed in front of 17k people for the Exotic Erotic Ball, and landed a licensing deal for recordings on various TV shows on HBO and Showtime.

Join us for this special evening with TPF friends and family…as we raise funds for the best ‘pussies’ ever… baby kittens!
Kitten 911 Rescue, a program of PALS East Bay, focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing orphaned and stray kittens. To date, the rescue, and its founder Katie Carney (a TPF alum) have rescued over 600 kittens…and counting!

FRAZIER'S SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUM IS A SUCKER PUNCH TO THE HEART THAT IS BOTH TRAGICALLY ROMANTIC YET WILDLY SATIRICAL. WITH A SENSE OF SEUSSIAN SOPHISTICATION, FRAZIER AIMS TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN HEART & HEAD AND CHALLENGE THE AUDIENCE WITH EVERY LYRIC TO ENTERTAIN THOUGHTS LONG BURIED. IN THE END, FRAZIER’S WRITING IS ABOUT THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED, PATHS NOT TAKEN, AND LIFE LESSONS... LUST AND BETRAYAL, PASSION’S QUIET RAGE, AND LOVING SOMEONE SO HARD THROUGH IT ALL THAT YOU BLEED INSIDE...

EVERYTHING HAS LED TO THIS...THE STORY OF A LIFE ON HOLD WITH A LONG OVERDUE DAY OF RECKONING; A QUARTER-LIFE "COMING OF AGE" TALE…WITH ALL THE SALT AND SWAGGER YOU'D EXPECT FROM A CHARM SCHOOL DROPOUT. FOR BETTER OR WORSE, THIS IS FRAZIER.

Iggy Franco
Iggy (Ignacio) Franco grew up in the inner city of Richmond, CA. At a young age, he often found himself in the midst of the violence and drugs that took over the city, but was inspired to be more than the harsh city circumstances that surrounded him.
Iggy escaped through writing poetry about his daily life challenges with his living situation, as he aspired to create art– influenced by artists like Kendrick Lamar; whose music expressed ideas of similar experiences.

Following the death of a neighborhood friend and the agony of his community, Iggy embarked on a journey to higher education. He is now in his fourth and final year at UC Berkeley, studying Urban Planning. There he has dived deep into the quirks of human interaction with the built environment and the policy made for neighborhoods like his own in Richmond.

"Although this has taken up quite a bit of my time, I never stopped writing rap lyrics and performing them whenever I had the chance"

“Writing poetry, rapping and singing have been ways for me to release my soul into the air we breathe.”

Iggy's dedication to telling his story will never cease and he hopes to inspire people to break out of their shell and become whatever it is they want to be.
